C2I Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Seedhe Ho Jao – From C to I

The C2I SOP is a simple, practical routine designed to help individuals and organizations build correct posture habits. It transforms posture correction from a one-time reminder into a sustainable daily behavior.

Step 1: Awareness – Spot the “C”

  • Identify moments when you are in a C posture: slouching at a desk, leaning on one side, bending the neck while on phone, or crouching while walking.
  • Train yourself to recognize these “C” positions quickly.

Step 2: Reminder – See the Symbol, Fix the Spine

  • Place the C to I symbol in visible spaces:
    • On desks, walls, meeting rooms, classrooms, and digital screens.
    • At public places like airports, stations, malls, and hospitals.
  • Every time you see the symbol → reset your posture immediately.

Step 3: Action – Shift from C to I

  • While Sitting:
    • Sit upright, back aligned with chair, feet flat on floor.
    • Keep shoulders relaxed and avoid leaning forward.
  • While Standing:
    • Stand tall with weight evenly balanced on both feet.
    • Keep stomach tucked slightly in, chest open, and head aligned with spine.
  • While Walking:
    • Walk upright without hunching.
    • Avoid looking down at the phone for long durations.

Step 4: Routine – Micro Breaks

  • Take 30–40 second breaks every 30 minutes to stretch and reset posture.
  • Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to ease strain.
  • Include simple stretches (neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, back extensions) in daily routine.

Step 5: Reinforcement – Make It Habitual

  • Encourage everyone in your home, school, or workplace to follow the same SOP.
  • Conduct weekly “Posture Checks” in classrooms and offices.
  • Use #Seedhehojao pledge boards where people commit to practicing good posture.

Step 6: Review & Report

  • In organizations: assign a Posture Ambassador to remind and reinforce posture culture.
  • In homes: make posture correction a family routine.
  • Track improvements in health, confidence, and energy as part of wellness programs.
